Role Summary
We are working exclusively on this key role and need an inspiring leader for a very well-established global med comms business.
As an overview the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic and operational practices and capabilities to provide the best service to their clients. This will be through an expert approach to capacity and resource management, the embedding of leading key account management capabilities and an inspiring style of management to grow a productive, profitable and purpose driven enterprise with an excellent reputation amongst its clients and within the healthcare sector.
Key functions of the role:
• Member of the Senior Leadership Team
• Full P&L responsibility for the med comms division
• Attendance and presenting at select Board meetings and supporting the Chief Executive Officer
• Leadership of the med comms division within the group (the Group has other key offerings in the healthcare market)
• Integration of the med comms teams to form one large coherent offering
• Leadership for business pitches and proposals arising within new business department, supporting team members to take ownership
• Brand ambassador and spokesperson for the business
• Oversight of new acquisitions and support of their integration in the Group
• Travel within the UK and globally is expected
• Attendance minimum of two days per week is crucial and non negotiable, offices in London, Cheshire and Manchester
• Experience of dealing with private equity partners is advantageous
The role requires a very innovative and inspirational leader with experience of leading large business units/agencies; plus experience in change management.
